Banff Mountain Film Festival UK Tour kicks off

Last night I was working at the Banff Mountain Film Festival UK Tour opening show as part of the Trail Team and it was awesome😀

The show was sold out a week in advance and the chit-chat was spreading though Queens Hall as people filled the seats.

Banff Stand before the crowd is all over it.

The show begins after a brief introduction from Nell and starts with a skiing film with some insane deep powder and urban skiing but my favourites in no particulate order has to be “Kadoma”, “Obe & Ashima” and after a busy interval where everyone made a mad dash to fill in the competition forms, the second half of the show finish off with two more favourites “Cold” and a brilliantly different film called “Sketchy Andy” featuring one of my all time favourites Timmy O’neill.

After the show everyone is quickly clearing the hall and I walk back to the hotel with my head buzzing with ideas about new projects and adventures but more about that later.

A big thanks to Nell and Simon for bringing the UK tour to Edinburgh.
